About Dr Khan
In Australia, Syema commenced her medical career as a Resident Medical Officer in Lyell McEwin Hospital, Adelaide. She also worked as a Senior Resident Medical Officer in Ipswich Hospital, Queensland. She enjoyed her hospital rotations while working in Acute medicine, General medicine, Emergency medicine, General surgery, Psychiatry, Paediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
Syema also completed ‘The Adelaide Prevocational Psychiatry Program’ at Glenside Campus, South Australia.
She started her GP life in Broken Hill as a part of her rural training.
Syema is committed to patient care. Her interests are varied including chronic disease management, preventive health, mental health, women’s and children’s health.
Outside of work, she loves cooking, travelling and spending time with her family and friends.
