Meet our Nurses
At Dubbo Medical Allied Health we have highly skilled professional nurses.
Raised in Dubbo, Helen became a nurse because of her uncle George Hatch. She studied nursing at Mona Vale Hospital in Sydney. She finds helping people make positive changes to their health, caring for the same people all the time and building a relationship with them, along with working alongside great nurses, the most rewarding aspects of her job.
‘Lizzie’ was raised in Albury, nursing is a family business so she followed suit. She studied at Charles Sturt University. Lizzie loves helping people as well as working among an amazing team achieving positive health outcomes for all patients.
Vanessa was born in Ireland raised in Dubbo, she followed in her mothers footsteps and become a nurse with her desire to help people. She studied at the University of New England in Armidale. Vanessa finds the most rewarding aspects of working at DMAHG are getting to know your patients, being able to help them when they really need it and seeing it lead to an improvement in their lives.
Raised in West Wylong, Carmen studied nursing at NSW Tafe in Young and is now completing her Registered Nurse training through Charles Sturt University. He desire for caring for people being the main reason she became a nurse. New to Dubbo Medical and Allied Health Group Carmen is enjoying learning heaps of new things, along with the new challenges and experiences that come along with working in such a busy practice.
Cathy is also new to our practice, she has come from an experienced background in practice nursing. She attibutes becoming a nurse to her grandmother who passed away from leukemia. Due to this experience she decided to become a nurse to give back. She studied at CSU Bathurst and later worked in Wellington. She enjoys the teamwork and preventative health in practice nursing. Her kids 10,12,16 keep her very busy with their sports and extra curricular activities. That is generally where you will find her.
