Meet GP Dr Gee Rathnayake

Dr. Gee Rathnayake was born and graduated in Sri Lanka. She has been working as a medical practitioner for the past 12 years. Before moving to  Australia in 2017 she had worked for 6 years in Sri Lanka gaining experience  in Paediatrics, Cardiology and Primary care. 

 

Dr Rathnayake has over 5 years work experience in Australia. She has worked in the Emergency department of Bankstown Hospital for 2 years. Then she worked in Gosford and Woy Woy Hospitals in Central Coast for another 1.5 years working in  Emergency ,Orthopaedic, Neurology  and Geriatrics. She has been a General Practitioner for 1.5 years in Gosford before moving to Dubbo in 2022.

 

Although Dr Rathnayake enjoys all aspects of General practice however she is particularly interested in:

• Women’s Health

• Child & Adolescents Health

• Mental Health

• Emergency Medicine

• Chronic Disease Management

​

She has moved to Dubbo with his family to continue his general practice career. In her leisure time she enjoys travelling and spending time with family and friends.
